The governing documents that outline the structure, purpose, and operational guidelines of the Hindu Temple of Central Indiana.
The Hindu Temple of Central Indiana is operated exclusively for religious, charitable, and educational purposes. Our mission is to provide a place of Hindu worship, foster spiritual and cultural activities, and to practice, preserve, and promote the rich traditions, values, and philosophy of Hinduism for our community.
Our temple is managed by a dedicated body of elected members who ensure its smooth operation and long-term success.
Board of Trustees – The supreme policy-making body of the temple, responsible for managing assets, approving annual budgets, and providing long-term strategic guidance. The Board consists of fifteen members elected for a four-year term.
Executive Committee – Responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the temple. This committee implements policies set by the Board of Trustees, manages daily religious and cultural activities, and handles routine financial matters. Members are elected for a two-year term.
Advisory Board – Comprised of past Presidents and Chairpersons, the Advisory Board provides invaluable, non-binding advice and support to the temple's leadership, drawing upon their extensive experience and knowledge of temple affairs.
