Specific Roles and Responsibilities

Education

• Library Management: Oversee all aspects of the library, including the collection of books, CDs, and tapes; organizing and arranging materials; maintaining a database; managing check-in and check-out processes; establishing library hours; and coordinating volunteer attendants.

• Identify, plan, and implement lectures by visiting scholars and experts related to Indian history and culture.

• Maintain ongoing relationships with academic institutions, museums, and cultural centers.

Philosophy / Vedanta

• Identify, plan, and implement lecture series and study groups, including:

  • Topic-specific lectures or pravachans

  • Young adult study circle (Navajyoti) for ages 15 to 21

  • Adult study circles

• Manage all aspects of yoga instruction and related seminars.

• Manage all aspects of meditation classes and seminars.
