Specific Roles and Responsibilities

• Organize cultural programs for holidays and festivals of interest, including but not limited to Lohri/Makar Sankranti, Holi, Ugadi/Baisakhi, Ganesh Festival, Navratri, and Diwali.

• Plan and conduct fitness and wellness programs related to dance and music, with a focus on cultural integration and social interaction.

• Collaborate with local organizations and community groups to organize cultural programs and events that foster appreciation and understanding of Indian culture.

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of music and dance classes, including both classical and non-classical formats.

• Organize trips to cultural programs and events of interest within the tri-state area.

• Provide community service opportunities for adults and children that promote cultural awareness through arts, music, dance, fitness, cuisine, language, and travel, helping educate and foster a deeper understanding of cultural and social traditions.
